Rachel's Favorite meal below
Back in the 1800s, most MΔori ate a simple diet. They ate foods that they could catch in the water (eg. fish) or grow on the land (eg. kumara). They did not have access to a supermarket to buy food for their meals! Speaking of meals, what is your favourite meal? Mine is wood-fired pizza. Yum!
For this activity we had to post a picture of a favourite meal and talk about it.
Shepard's Pie!
!This is not my photo!
My favourite meal is Shepard's Pie! Shepard's Pie is a big pie that has layers of potatoes, vegetables, mince and of course CHEESE! It is my favourite meal because when I first tasted it when my cousin's made it was a YASS from me! So I decided to go for 3rd's! The layers inside was delicious but my favourite was the mince and potatoes! I think that this is an awesome meal because you can share it (only if you make a big batch) and enjoy the mouth-watering pie! When my mum and I make it we just eyeball the ingredients and it turns out amazing. But if you'd like to try it out here's the recipe on how the make Shepard's Pie the Professional way! Click this link.
