 Rm 10 decided to experiment if Persil washes whiter. So we decided to test out if Persil actually washes whiter. Well to do this we used 3 white singlets and we had 3 volunteers who made the 3 singlets dirty outside. Then used 3 buckets with water in it. After that we washed the 3 singlets using water, Supreme washing powder and last of all Persil. So we washed all the singlets and the end results were pretty cool, and of course Persil actually washed the whiter but still had dirt because we washed it only for 1 min in a bucket of water. 

Task Description: As part of our topic ch ch ch ch changes we did an experiment that Mr Goodwin promised we would do. We were writing out our forms to which one will wash whiter I picked Persil which a lot of us did, but not that  much people went for Supreme. Hey everyone today I have decided to let you guys check out my project I have made on scratch. The project that I've made is a maze game. This maze game was actually my first ever scratch project that I have made. I'm not really a big fan of coding but the maze game I made was really fun. Our teacher gave us tips on how to use scratch. Task Description: This term as part of our topic science I am learning about washing powders. We had to pick any washing powder, and make up a jingle about it. So here I choose the washing powder Surf because my family usually uses surf for washing. My jingle was a rap, and thanks to my friend Daisy who voiced over it, and well she was raping it I made the beat. Hope you enjoy.

SOCCER BALL ACCIDENT!

5,4,3,2,1 BLAST OFF BOOSH! “Let’s go”, says Ollie. Today Oliver James is finally on NASA traveling to outer space. As he was in NASA he remembers his mums last word before he’s of to space. “REMEMBER DO NOT TAKE YOUR SOCCER BALL”, says mum. But he did. Were nearly landing yells Oliver.

Task Description: This is my blog post about What are the Positives, Minuses, and Interesting points (PMI) about Sport drinks. In my Sports Drinks presentation I explain what are sport drinks, and what they are used for. Did you know that people that sell these types of drinks use advertising to sell them and make money. People who buy sports drinks think that the sport drinks are going to help them with their big games and to build muscles, however sports drinks actually have a lot of sugar and it's really bad for you unless you are professional athlete, or do enough exercise to use that energy. Amelia Problem Solving Practice Term 3 Wk 4

Walt: identify and solve decimal problem Task Description: This is my Problem Solving Practice Term 3 Wk 4. In this math activity it took very long for me to understand it but I got it and 1.74 was my final answer. This math activity was all about decimals and the 2016 Rio Olympics! Task Description: This is my Olympic athlete shirt! In this fun activity we had to be an agent of an famous athlete. We had to choose from a main sponsor and an sub-sponsor. I chose Puma and Canterbury instead of going for more money I went for the fit, and the money that I collected from both sponsors was 14.000!    

Difference between triathlon and tryathlon?

Walt: synthesise information from multiple sources The difference between triathlon and tryathlon is that the normal word triathlon is switched to try, and also the word triathlon represents the 3 sports that are in a triathlon which is Swimming, Cycling and Running. So the word tryathlon also means that you should give a triathlon a try and that your trying to race other people. Task Description: In this Reading activity we had to read a cool article called Give it a try. After that we had to write on a doc with Questions called Give it a try, and in one of the Questions it said What is the  difference between triathlon and tryathlon. So we had to post a blogpost about it with a few sentences about What is the  difference between triathlon and tryathlon and here it is!

Amelia If I was an Olympic athlete Rio 2016

The time has come I have been training for 4 nervous ruff and tuff years . Have you trained your hardest? I am determined to win a gold medal with pride. Here I am standing ready to compete in the Hurdles representing NZ after all my hard work for the 2016 Rio Olympics!

The sport that I will be competing in the 2016 Rio Olympics is the famous Hurdles. Hurdles is the sport that I want to compete in the 2016 Rio Olympics, and the reason why I am competing in this interesting event is because Hurdles is a game I like to play at home with my family members. In the Olympics hurdles is an running competition but without running in circles, and well you run you have to jump over high hurdles to make it to the finish line (Hurdles are kind of like fences). I have trained a lot for this famous sport and now it's going to pay off!

This year I will be representing New Zealand in the Rio Olympics. The thing that makes me want to represent New Zealand my home country is because I was born and raised here, but because I chose this is because I know a lot of thing about my home country and that most of my family members are here. I also belong to a different country but I kind of know alot about it instead I will be representing New Zealand for most of my family members.

I think if I was competing in the 2016 Rio Olympics it would be like “OH MY GOSH I’m here right now”. But if I was actually competing in the  2016 Rio Olympics I would be GOBSMACKED, PROUD, JAW DROPPING and nervous. What about you? What would it be like if you were at the Olympics? if you were going to actually compete in this big event. I would be proud If I was actually competing in the big event it would be AMAZING!

Going to the the Olympics would be very exciting but I can’t afford that much money because it is too expensive! What are your thoughts for this BIG challenging event? My thoughts are is that the Olympics is that it is very cool you get to see winners and supportive people so these are my thoughts.

Amelia Family of Facts #7

Task Description: This is my family facts #7. We are doing family facts so we get faster at learning out time's tables and divided by's. To do this I had to look at the numbers on the triangle . Then we break the numbers into time's tables and divided by's. I know how to break the numbers into time's tables and divided by's because sometimes the biggest number is the answer. But we do not know what the monster's personality was we had to describe the character in our own way we had to complete four slides. I really enjoyed doing this presentation because I got to think of all sorts of things that monsters have.
