Science - Greenhouse Effect

For the past few weeks our learning focus in science has been around global warming. We learned different aspects of Climate Change along with several tasks that we had to complete. We also focused on the Greenhouse Effect and the influence it has on our environment, people, etc. We also had to complete a task where we had to re-search and collect information about celebrities/public figures perspectives on Climate Change.

Greenhouse gas - Wikipedia

What is the Greenhouse Effect?

This effect consists of 7 primary gases such as, Carbon Dioxide, Ozone, Nitrous Oxide, Chlorofluorocarbons, Methane, and Water Vapour, of these different gases, Water Vapour, Methane, and Carbon Dioxide are the main gases responsible for the greenhouse effect. Each gas engages with the sun's heat by trapping it. Carbon dioxide, Methane, Water Vapour, and Nitrous Oxide are the four primary gases within the earth's atmosphere.

All of this crucially contributes to maintaining the earth's warmth and sustaining comfortable living throughout the earth. However, I believe ever since industrial evolution (example: burning fossil fuels) and majority of human activity is causing majority of climate change. Problems such as factories producing toxic materials and gases all are released into the atmosphere and inevitably damaging natural resources costing our lives. We need to start implementing the obvious solutions many people have concluded to these problems before they become irreversible.
