Today in Maths (Period 1) we learned how to create 3D shapes and nets. We used an online site called GeoGebra to create our shapes. As a starter, we followed an instructional video online, guiding us through how to create a 3D Pentagonal Shape with nets. Throughout the process of creating the shapes, we were able to independently construct our own shapes such as Pyramids, Cylinders, etc. I will be sharing a step-by-step presentation on how to create a 3D Pentagonal Shape.
Hi Amelia
ReplyDeleteWow this is a wonderful blog post, thanks for creating and sharing how to use GeoGebra. The cube drawing is excellent, how did you do that?
Having the link in your post is super helpful too. I didn't know about GeoGebra before, but it looks like a great programme. I'll share your post with some maths teachers I know, this will be a fabulous resource for other students around the country!
What are you learning next in maths Amelia, do you have to design something using these shapes? By the way, who's your maths teacher?
