Making 3D Clay Shapes!

Yesterday Room 4 Maths made 3D shapes out of clay. We used clay, water, a plastic wooden knife, plastic ruler and paper. The shape me and Naomi (my partner) decided to make was a hexagonal prism which is a 3D shape. We made these shapes for our young ones who are struggling to find real life 3D shapes. So we decided to step in and help them out by making them. We used a template to make the shape perfect. The shape is based on a hexagon. When we go to present our creations we have to ask them questions these are my questions: How much faces does it have? How many Edges does it have? Does it have 12 vertices.. How do you know?

Summarising

Walt: Summarise a written text.

Task Description: For this task I had to summarise two readings based on pollution. We are learning to summarise a written text. We first had to learn what is summarising and what is is about. After that using the knowledge we got we summarise two readings. This is the presentation that I have completed it's just mainly about pollution and summarising. Enjoy!
