Task Description: Hello Viewers. This activity is kind of like an advice blog you might have seen recently. Anyways I had to answer questions from a alien Gorgon. He wants to know which is a good place to grow crops, which is a save planet to hide a massive spaceship and how long does it take us to orbit around the sun. I found all of this information from two reading and wrote down what I read. I also used images using explore. You will know what explore is in my latest

Task Description: Today Room 7 Literacy had to complete a activity about the Solar System. This is my finish look. To start off We had to find images on Explore. Explore is just like Google but when you have an drive there's presentations, Docs and Google draw. At the top of each subject it should say tools then when you click it, it is let's you type up what you want. Anyways going back to the images we had to place all the planets in order starting from the Sun all the way to Neptune. This is not the real size of what the planet is but I tried my best. I then added all the names of the planets just to show you guys the name of each one! I hope you enjoy. Stay tuned for my next blog-post.

Space Narrative!

Walt: structure a narrative piece of writing. 

Me and my buddie Robocop have just entered a spaceship. Robocop is a robot and yes he is a cop. He is very smart and when it comes to serious problems….. Cop Mode is activated. The year is 4017 and the earth is dying!  Robocop and I are evacuating earth and going in a private spaceship searching for a new home right away!

Boom! Our private spaceship has landed. I step out of the spaceship and I start coughing from all the dust. I look around and see different kinds of places. The man controlling the spaceship says Good luck and zooms away right ontop of us! Luck Robocop yelled out to duck. Zoom! A spaceship just went right past us. Robocop has a concerned look. Suddenly he caught another spaceship coming towards us. Runn!

Me and Robocop are running our hardest trying to lose that terrifying spaceship! Robocop yells,”What are we gonna do”. I reply,”I don’t know but always remember to follow my lead…. Unless I need your help! “DUCK”, says Robocop as ball of fire shoots out of the spaceship! In a sassy reply I said,”Aye I knew that”. I look to my right and spotted something. “Look I found a cave….maybe if we hide inside there we could lose the spaceship” I say out of breath. We ran our hardest until we got to the cave! Whew! We managed to lose the spaceship and got to the cave.  Everything was silent that I could only hear myself breathing heavily! We both look behind us and see something bright towards us! “What’s that?”, I say. “Well we're gonna have to find out”, says Robocop walking towards the bright light.

“Wow”, says Robocop! The place looked amazing! We took a moment to admire how amazing it looked like! It was like a tropical jungle! Robocop then looked at the bushes “Uh oh”, says Robocop!  I then look at the bushes and it was moving! I step back Robocop steps forward. “Step Back”, I whisper. Then something pops out…... a small spaceship! The spaceship looked familiar to Robocop. Wait that was the spaceship that was that was chasing us. It looked damaged. We went to help the spaceship so we opened the spaceship and there was get this… A alien! Wow! The alien spoke English,”How dare you enter this jungle”  says”. “What Jungle”, I say. Alien replies,”Wait I was the one that was trying to help you”. “What help us!”, Robocop says surprised. The alien then walks off. “Wait we need to explain something”, I yell. We then explain why we are here trying to look for a new place since earth is dying! The alien then tells us to follow him to his chief.

We met the chief of the beautiful planet. He had guards behind him so we decided to stay calm. We talked over the whole situation and decided that we could have a free planet. The chief said,”Ok we truly respect what you have said so in order for the us aliens to go move to one of our other planet we need your help by writing poster”. Me and Robocop did what the chief said since he was so generous. The End!

Task Description: Today for writing we did a narrative. Since our topic for this term is Guardians of the Galaxy Room 7 literacy wrote a story about themselves and a partner. We had to pretend that we were in the year 4017 since technology has changed over time we could go to space more easier like in a private spaceship. We then created a image on google draw or other drawing websites so it can go with the story. Enjoy!

Guardians Of The Galaxy!

Walt: Write about what you have learned about space. ( I made up this Walt)

Task Description: Yay school has started and I am ready to show my first blog post for Term 3! Our theme for this Term is Guardians Of The Galaxy. We are learning about space and gravity. Today Team 4 had a immersion assembly just to get into the space vibe. Team 4 was split into 3 groups. This is one of the activity's I did with Miss Parrant and Miss West. We were learning about space and the things they do there like how they float, eat, sleep, walk and more. I hope you enjoy this presentation!

4 ways to make slime without Borax or Glue!

Task Description: After a long trip with the Winter Learning Journey me and Lillyana decided to make a presentation about slime! I thought that lot's of people try to make slime without Borax or Glue... So we decided to gather up 4 ways to make slime Borax and Glue free! First we wrote a description on how to make the slime. We also used video's from Youtube for the people that don't really get what we are saying! As you can see we have just stuck to one theme. I also used a gif that say slime and it shows it dripping! Holiday Blogging WLJ - Bonus Activity The End Of An AMAZING Journey!

Bonus Activity: On your blog, post a video or write a description about your week. What have you learned? What did you like about the trip? What didn’t you like? Was there anything that surprised you?

To start off I would like to say a big thank you to Rachel for this amazing program. I also would like to thank the people who helped you with the program, and one last thank you to the people who commented on my activity's!!

I have learn't a lot through our online journey. I loved learning about the Brown Kiwi on Day 3's Activity! I thought that they were Native to New Zealand but it turns out there not because there actually endemic. I also enjoyed interviewing my sister even though it was a short activity! I actually got to tell Rachel a lot about my family through comments. I've also learn't a lot of course about New Zealand. I got to learn about the meaning of the name New Zealand or Aotearoa, how NZ was found and all about us New Zealanders.

I definitely liked writing the little story how your all alone because it helped me express my feelings if that actually happened to me! I also liked writing down 3 things we should do to stop pollution. It was so interesting thinking about it, what if I was chosen to help with pollution as a leader I would definitely list down those 3 things I wrote. I think to wrap this up what I liked about the trip was that I learned new things! So I think that I definitely loved discovering all the new or old things about New Zealand!
