Activity 1
On your blog provide a short review of the video from your country. In your review please tell us:
  1. The name of the television show
  2. What you liked about the show
  3. What you didn’t like about the show
Finally, at the end of the review, give the video a rating out of 5 stars with 5 stars (*****) being amazing and 1 star (*) being terrible

So as I was trying to click the link to the video I was suppose to watch it did not work. So instead I searched up on YouTube The Voice Australia the best blind auditions so then I used this a the video.
Here's a link to the video - Link.

Review:

  1. The name of the television show - The name of the TV show is The Voice.
  2. What you liked about the show - What I like about the show is how they press the buttons and they surprisingly see there auditions.
  3. What you didn’t like about the show - There was actually nothing that I didn't like about the show because I used to watch it when I had a TV, and it was all just great!
I give this video 5 (*****) stars because it is one of the best entertainment shows I know, and it is really funny in some seasons.

Activity 2
Most of us like to watch TV when we have the chance. One of my favourite television shows, at the moment, is called Veep. It’s a show about a woman who becomes the President of the United States. It’s pretty funny! I watch Veep on HBO every Monday night.

What is your favourite television show at the moment? On your blog, tell us the name of your favourite television show and tell us, briefly, what it is about.

My favorite television show at the moment is 19 kids and counting. This TV show is held by Jim - Bob and Michelle and is about Michelle who is raising a whole lot of kids that's right a lot! 19 kids and counting as you might already know from my other activity's previously is one of the biggest family's in America. This is a hardworking family and is determent to fix every problem they have which is pretty impressive. Michelle Duggar who is the mother of all the kids actually delivered every single one of them. They first started off with there first ever TV show called 14 kids and pregnant again! They had pretty rough times back then. Did you know that there youngest daughter Josie had to be delivered very early, and she was so tiny that she had to stay at the hospital until she grew older. Guess what happen she survived. Did you know that all the Duggars names except for Michelle all has names that starts with the letter J. That is all about my favorite TV show.

Here are all there names below including there husbands wife and children:

Josh - Oldest

Anna

Jana

John - David

Jill

Jessa

Jinger

Joseph

Josiah

Joy - Anna

Jedidiah

Jeremiah

Jason

James

Justin

Holiday Blogging - Summer Learning Journey W2 D9 A1/2

Day 9 – Meet my Family
Today you are going to visit a local family. The size and the composition of families vary a great deal from country to country. In places like Japan, Canada, Australia, South Africa, the United Kingdom and Germany, families are typically quite small. Most parents have 1 to 2 children and once children grow up and get married they usually live separately from their parents. This is not the case in the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Malaysia or in Chile. In these countries, the families are often larger and members of the extended family live together for most of their lives. Scroll down to ‘meet’ a typical family from Canada.
Canadian Family

This is my family - the Williamsons. We’re a pretty typical Canadian family. When I was younger we lived in a small town (Almonte) in the province of Ontario, Canada. Approximately 5000 people live in Almonte. It is located 30 kilometres from Ottawa, the capital city of Canada.
My family is currently made up of five people. My dad, Ron, is on the left-hand side of the picture. He is married to my mom, Leslie (she’s the one in the blue dress). My parents have been married for 35 years! Together they had two children, Leigh (the one in the wedding dress) and me, Rachel. I’m the one in the black dress. In this picture my sister, Leigh, has just gotten married to her fiancΓ©e, Andrew (he’s the one in the grey suit!). This picture was taken in July 2012.
Activity 1
Now that you have met my family it is time to think about your own family. On your blog tell us about your family. How many people are in your family? Do you have any brothers or sisters? What are their names?
Photo of my family: The Halaufia's

My family:
You've meet Rachel's family now here's mine! There are 6 people in my family including me. This picture you see here is the order of how my family go's. Here are the Halaufia's. Coming in first is my my little brother. He is the youngest out of all of us and his name is William. In next is me but you already know a lot about me right? Now here's my big sister she is the oldest out me and my brother and her name is Loseli. Now here are the elderly's. Here is my mum she is 41 years old and it's her B-day tomorrow. Then here's my dad he's 43 and is the second oldest out of all of us. Then coming in last is my grandpa who is 76 year's old, and is the oldest out of all of us.

Activity 2
Some families are very large and some are very small. Some of the smallest families are found in China where parents are allowed, by law, to have only one child. This is quite different from countries like America (U.S.A.) where some families have as many as 19 or 20 children. It is rare but it does happen!
In America, there is actually a family with 19 children who have their own television show called ’19 Kids and Counting.’ All 19 children have the same two parents (Jim Bob and Michelle) and every single one of the children has a name starting with the letter ‘J.’ The oldest children is a boy named Josh and the youngest is a girl named Josie. Amazing!
If you’d like to see a small clip from the show, follow this link: 19 Kids and Counting
Imagine that you were one of the Duggar children and you had 18 brothers and sisters. What do you think it would be like to have so many sisters and brothers living with you in one house? On your blog please tell us what you would like and what you wouldn’t like about living in such a large family.
Description:
This task is quite cool because it is actually my favorite television show, and I know all the names off by heart! If I had 18 brothers and sister's it would be quit fun and then quite annoying. I would like it because I wouldn't be bored at home with no one to play with but I have 18 brother's and sister's to play with. I also like it because if you have a problem you can solve it with you brother's and sister's. Why I dislike having lot's of brother's and sister's is because you can get annoyed and like you can not concentrate on your work. Also it can get really crowded in some places.
