πŸ™ Octopus Facts πŸ™ ~ Makayla & Amelia πŸ–‡️
Task Description: This week we have been learning about Octopus! To start off, we all sat down on the mat and shared what we already knew or learned about the octopus. We then watched a video all focused on the octopus itself. We definitely picked up a lot of facts and even though we knew some already the video allowed us to look into the fact in depth. Me and Makayla then partnered to make this presentation all about the Octopus. We used all the facts that we learnt from the previous video to fufill this presentation. I hope you enjoy :)

  2. Kia ora Amelia,
my name is Jedi and I am a year eight in rimu class. I absolutely love this post because: You have made a super cool slide, and started an introduction. In your slide I love that you have added photo's, and some really awesome facts. I also thought it was funny because you had eight facts and Octopus have eight tentacles. Now going back to your introduction/description. I noticed that you have not finished writing it. Meaning that I (The reader) did not have much of an understanding of the post. Although another thumbs up is that you have acknowledged where you got the images from. That is super! What got this chat about Octopus started? Was it to do with an inquiry subject?

Did you know that the scientific name for and Octopus is Cephalopoda?
    I hope to hear more!

  3. Hi Amelia!
    It's Mika from Yaldhusrt.
Your blog is packed with information! A lot of it was something that I didn't know so thanks.

I've actually heard of the blue ring octopus. It's not only poisonous, it's one of the most poisonous things in the ocean! The thing can kill 26 adults in a matter of minutes!

Although this is great and has a lot of information, you may need to reread some of your pages because you have repeated yourself multiple times. Also adding some colour would be great too. What do you think of octopuses, I think they're pretty fascinating because of how smart they are and different they are to humans. Hope to see your next blog.
